The Rugrats Movie - Nintendo Game Boy Color

Tommy's diaper changing mini-game actually made me laugh out loud, and the graphics capture that goofy Rugrats feel perfectly. It's a solid little platformer that brings back memories.

I was surprised how much game fits on that little cartridge, the adventure mode has levels from the movie that keep the pick-up-and-play pace going. Graphics are crisp for Game Boy Color and the controls feel responsive, perfect for a long car ride.

Tommy’s little Adventure mode keeps the action simple enough that even my six-year-old could follow along, and the bright colors pop nicely on the Game Boy Color screen. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for a rainy afternoon, and the movie-based levels give it just the right dose of nostalgia.
