Rugby 15 - Microsoft Xbox One

The play-calling feels surprisingly deep for a sports game, and executing set moves off a scrum is genuinely satisfying. It's not the prettiest game graphically, but the core rugby action keeps me coming back for another match.

Finally got to control the full match flow, and the play-calling options are deeper than I expected for a rugby sim. The fast-paced action translates well to the controller, and I've already sunk a few hours into the season mode without it getting stale.

Tackling and rucking feel properly weighty, and the quick-tap play calls actually keep the pace moving when you're chasing a try. I’ve sunk a few nights into season mode and the AI gives you a real fight without feeling cheap.
