NFL Blitz - Nintendo Game Boy Color

I was skeptical about how well the fast-paced arcade football would translate to a small screen, but the controls are actually quite responsive and the plays load quickly. The battery life is decent too, lasting through several full games without needing a change.

The arcade-style gameplay is a perfect fit for short bursts on the go, and I love how the CPU players actually put up a fight. It's a surprisingly solid port of the console version that fits right in my pocket.

Picked this up for some nostalgia and the passing is surprisingly fluid for a Game Boy game. It's no Madden, but the quick plays and goofy late hits make it perfect for short commutes.
