怪獸電力公司 - Nintendo Game Boy Color

I was surprised how much platforming content they packed into this little cartridge—each level has a different monster to chase or avoid. The controls are responsive and the sprites are actually pretty detailed for a Game Boy Color title. My kid hasn’t put it down since it arrived.

Picked this up for nostalgia and was surprised at how smooth the side-scrolling action is on the original cartridge. The graphics are crisp for a Game Boy Color title, and it handles the movie’s chase scenes well.

The cartridge slots into my GBC easily but I wish the label art was a bit sharper. Still, the Monster Scare challenge levels bring back good memories of hiding behind doors. Solid 4 stars for a fun little platformer on the go.
