Kevin VanDam's Big Bass Challenge - Nintendo Wii

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Wii remote responds to the casting and reeling motions—it makes the fishing feel almost real. The game has a decent variety of lakes to explore, and the fish AI keeps each catch interesting. A fun, low-key way to spend an afternoon.

Playing through the career mode really makes you feel like you're competing in an actual tournament. The Wii remote casting motion is surprisingly responsive for a fishing game.

I was pleasantly surprised how many actual lakes and techniques are in this game, it's way more than just a simple fishing mini-game. The balance board support for casting feels really responsive and adds to the immersion.
