Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 - Microsoft Xbox 360

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of weapons and environments—each hunt feels genuinely different from the last. The controls are intuitive enough that I got into the action within minutes.

The realistic animal movements make the hunts feel genuinely challenging, and the tracking system adds a nice layer of strategy. It's kept me hooked for hours.

My brother and I have been taking turns with this game for a week now—the tracking challenges in the single-player campaign are surprisingly engaging. The graphics hold up fine for an older title, and it's a solid way to spend a rainy afternoon.
