Alleyway - 任天堂Game Boy

The cartridge itself is solid and slides into the Game Boy without any wobble, and the breakout-style ball physics feel just as responsive as I remember from the arcade days. It’s a simple pick-up-and-play loop that still eats twenty minutes without me noticing.

Playing Alleyway on long car trips brought back some great old-school arcade vibes. The side-scrolling action is simple to pick up but the difficulty ramps up nicely as you go deeper. It's been a perfect way to pass the time on my original Game Boy.

Brought back some serious nostalgia once the cartridge clicked into my Game Boy. The arcade-style brick-breaking is simple but keeps you hooked, and the save feature works exactly as it should for a game this age. Only knock is the lack of any real variety, but that’s true to the era.
