The water physics in Wave Rally feel surprisingly responsive, making those sharp buoys actually fun to navigate instead of frustrating. I've been playing for hours trying to beat my own lap times on the different tracks.

The wave physics actually make the water feel alive—each chop and swell pushes your jet ski around in a way that keeps every race tense. I’ve been playing it for a week straight and still haven’t mastered the sharper turns on the later tracks. It’s the perfect pick-me-up when I’ve got twenty minutes

I was honestly surprised by how smooth the racing feels once you get the hang of the wave physics. The PS2 version runs at a steady frame rate even with multiple boats on screen, which makes a big difference in the tight turns.
