Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles - Nintendo Wii

The motion controls make aiming feel really intuitive, and I love how the Wii Zapper accessory adds to the immersion. It’s a blast revisiting the story through this arcade-style shooter.

I’ve played through the campaign twice now and the rail-shooter mechanics on the Wii remote feel surprisingly precise, even when things get chaotic. The multiple condition options let me grab a used copy that plays flawlessly, which saved me a few bucks without any scratches or skips.

The Umbrella Chronicles is exactly what I wanted for a nostalgia trip, and the on-screen quick-time events keep the action tense even when the shooting gets repetitive. I played through it in two sittings, and the co-op mode made the boss fights way more fun than solo.
