The touch-screen controls for boosting in the garage minigames are surprisingly responsive, and the story mode keeps things interesting across all the tracks. My kid hasn’t put it down since it arrived, and everything came just as described with the case and manual intact.

Got both the game and the case in one complete package, which saved me the hassle of hunting down a used manual later. The cart loads fast and the DS stylus controls for drifting feel surprisingly responsive. My kid’s been replaying the race tracks nonstop since it arrived.

Lightning McQueen’s tracks are surprisingly twisty for a DS racer, and the two-player mode kept my kid and me hooked for an hour straight. Everything came in the original case with the manual, which was a nice bonus.
