Beowulf The Game - Microsoft Xbox 360

The combat sequences actually carry the weight of the story well, and the blood effects are gloriously over-the-top in that classic action-adventure way. I sunk a solid weekend into this on my 360 and came away grinning.

I was really impressed by how well this Xbox 360 action title captures the brutal, cinematic feel of the source material, especially during the large-scale battle sequences. The story mode kept me engaged for several evenings, and the graphics hold up nicely for its age.

The combat feels weighty and deliberate, especially the finisher moves that match the movie’s brutal tone. I’ve played through the campaign twice and the boss fights still keep me on edge every time.
