Splatoon 2 - Nintendo Switch

The campaign mode has a surprising amount of variety with the different weapon types, and the online multiplayer matches load fast enough that I never get bored waiting. I’ve already sunk way more hours into Turf War than I expected.

I was skeptical about motion controls at first, but aiming with the gyro in Salmon Run makes me feel like a pro. The single-player campaign is surprisingly solid too, with creative levels that keep things fresh. Definitely getting my money’s worth.

Turf War matches are pure chaos in the best way, and the motion controls actually make aiming feel precise once you get used to them. I’ve sunk hours into the single-player campaign on the go, and the replay value is unreal since every match feels different.
