The waves spray across the screen with a satisfying splash, and the tight cornering keeps me coming back for one more race. It's the perfect pick-up-and-play game for the Game Boy's tiny screen, and I'm surprised how much depth the water physics add.

The wave physics actually make each race feel different, and I love how the Game Boy screen handles the blue water sprites. Perfect for quick sessions when I'm waiting in line.

I'd forgotten how solid this launch-era Game Boy title is, and the water physics still feel surprisingly tight for something this old. Plays great on my original DMG, and the battery lasts for ages even with the sound up.
