NBA 2K17 - Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4)

The MyGM mode alone is worth the price of admission, and the gameplay feels tighter than last year's version. Complete-in-box means I got the case and manual, which is a small thing but still nice.

The commentary in MyGM mode is so immersive it feels like you're in the arena, and the player models move with a realism I haven't seen in years. I've put in over 40 hours and the gameplay still feels fresh, the way the crowd reacts to a clutch three is spot on.

MyPlayer career mode has eaten an embarrassing number of my evenings since this arrived, and the full box with all the inserts makes it feel like a proper collector's piece. The gameplay is so smooth that even the replays feel like a real broadcast.
