Brothers in Arms - Nintendo DS

The mission-based gameplay is surprisingly deep for a DS title, and the touch-screen controls make aiming and issuing squad orders feel intuitive. I’ve been playing through the campaign for a few days and the story keeps me engaged. A solid handheld shooter that doesn’t feel watered down.

I was surprised how well the touch-screen controls work for directing your squad in firefights, it adds a lot to the handheld experience. The cartridge arrived in very good shape and loaded right up, no issues. Pretty cool way to get tactical action on the DS.

The tactical squad commands actually work surprisingly well on the DS touchscreen, making firefights feel strategic rather than frustrating. Played through the whole campaign on a long flight and the cartridge stayed in perfect Very Good condition the entire time.
