I was surprised how well the touch-screen controls work for Baymax’s glide moves during the chase sequences. The game stays true to the movie’s action without feeling too repetitive for short play sessions.

My kids have been glued to their DS since this arrived; being able to swap between Baymax and Hiro on the fly is exactly what we wanted. The Bay Area level feels surprisingly big for a handheld game.

The touch-screen controls for switching between Hiro’s gadgets feel surprisingly smooth, and the Baymax combo moves are satisfyingly easy to pull off during the boss fights. It’s a solid pick for a rainy afternoon, even if the story stays pretty close to the movie.
