Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01 Variety Kit - Nintendo Switch

My nine-year-old spent a whole afternoon carefully assembling the piano cardboard and was so proud when it actually worked. The way the Switch screen becomes the "heart" of each Toy-Con is surprisingly clever. It's been a fun, screen-time balance that gets everyone building together.

I wasn't sure my kids would stay interested after the initial build, but the fishing rod and motorbike handlebars keep them coming back; the cardboard construction is surprisingly sturdy for hours of play.

The cardboard building part was more engaging than I expected—my kids spent an entire afternoon putting the fishing rod together. Once it’s assembled, the motion controls in the fishing game feel really accurate. A fun way to get the whole family off the couch for a while.
