Command & Conquer 3 : La Fureur de Kane - Microsoft Xbox 360

RTS on a console usually feels clumsy, but the controls here are surprisingly intuitive once you get the hang of base-building. The campaign’s got a nice mix of missions that keep things fresh, and I’ve already sunk a weekend into skirmish mode. Only wish the loading screens were a bit snappier.

The campaign mode is really deep with loads of missions that kept me busy for weeks. I was impressed by how well the RTS controls translate to a controller, making base building and unit management feel smooth and intuitive.

The unit controls feel surprisingly responsive for a strategy game on a console, and the full-motion video cutscenes between missions are a blast from the past. Getting the hang of base-building with a controller took a few matches, but once it clicks the gameplay is seriously addictive.
