God of War - Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4)

The combat system feels incredibly fluid, with the Leviathan Axe throwing and recalling adding a satisfying weight to every fight. Exploring the Norse realm and uncovering its story kept me glued to the screen for hours.

The story pulled me in from the first cutscene and didn't let go until the credits rolled, and that single-player campaign is exactly the deep dive I needed. The axe combat feels weighty and satisfying, though I’m still not over how good the Leviathan’s throw and recall feels in your hands.

The axe throw and recall mechanic alone is worth the price of admission, and the single-player campaign keeps you hooked from start to finish. I've sunk about 30 hours in and still find new details in the world, so it's a steal for the depth you get.
