Karaoke Revolution American Idol Encore - Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2)

The mic picked up every wobble in my voice, and the judging feedback actually pushed me to hit the notes cleaner on the next try. I’ve played through the whole song list twice with friends, and the duet mode alone is worth the price for a party night.

The song list is really good, with a nice mix of old and new hits, though I wish there were a few more tracks to unlock after a few hours of play. The timing on the pitch detection feels fair for a PS2 game, so it's easy to jump into a duet with a friend and have fun without frustration.

The vocal training exercises actually helped me hit a couple of notes I’ve never been able to reach before, and the duet mode is fun with a friend. I just wish the game had a few more songs from the later seasons.
