Quick answer
Choose the Aerith Gainsborough 8" Plush if you want the more budget-friendly option and prefer a softer, floral display presence. Choose the Tifa Lockhart 8" Plush if you want a slightly more premium feel or a gift for a Tifa fan.
Price and value trade-off
At catalog prices, the Aerith plush is listed at USD 25.50 and the Tifa plush at USD 22.78. Both carry a USD 34.00 comparison price, so the gap is small but real. If you are buying two or adding a third character later, the Tifa plush leaves a little more room in the budget.
Neither listing includes option types such as size variants or bundled accessories. That means you are choosing between two fixed 8-inch plush, not customizing a set. Treat the listed price as the main differentiator unless you have a strong character preference.
Character appeal and display style
The Aerith plush suits a lighter, softer shelf arrangement, while the Tifa plush tends to read as a more action-oriented centerpiece. Both are 8 inches, so they occupy similar space and can sit side by side without one overpowering the other.
If you already own Final Fantasy plush from other lines, matching the 8-inch scale keeps a group display consistent. The catalog does not list pose, fabric, or accessory details, so base your choice on the character you want to see daily rather than on unlisted features.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Price vs. character preference: The Tifa plush saves USD 2.72 at catalog price, but the Aerith plush costs more. Pick the character you will enjoy looking at, not just the lower number. Set a per-plush budget before choosing; the price gap is small enough that character appeal should decide.
- Display scale: Both plush are 8 inches, so they fit the same shelf depth and height. If you plan to display them together, neither will dominate by size. Measure your shelf space once and treat both as the same footprint.
- Gift fit: A Tifa fan will notice the lower price as a practical bonus; an Aerith fan will appreciate the specific character. Neither plush includes listed accessories, so the gift is the plush itself. Match the gift to the recipient's favorite character rather than to the price difference.
