XCOM Enemy Unknown - Microsoft Xbox 360

The tactical layer is deep without being overwhelming, and I love how every decision in base management carries real weight. My soldiers feel like actual characters, not just pawns, which makes losing one genuinely painful. For a strategy game on Xbox 360, the controls are surprisingly intuitive.

I've spent hours perfecting my squad placements and the base-building between missions keeps me coming back. The tension of losing a soldier you've leveled up is real—it makes every decision count.

The tactical squad-based gameplay really makes you think each move through, and the strategic layer between missions adds just the right amount of depth. Even on normal difficulty, it keeps you on your toes against that alien threat.
