Top Spin 3 - Microsoft Xbox 360

I found the training mode incredibly helpful for nailing down the advanced spin shots, and the career progression actually kept me hooked for weeks.

The shot timing mechanics are so punishing that even on the default difficulty, a single mistimed swing sends the ball rocketing out, but that's what makes every point feel earned. I've already sunk six hours into career mode this week and can't stop chasing that perfect crosscourt winner.

Playing as Roger Federer feels almost too realistic, the court surfaces actually affect ball speed and bounce. The career mode has me hooked with its detailed training system.
