Sonic Free Riders - Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect

Once you really lean into the motion controls, it feels like you’re actually running and turning Sonic yourself. The game gets the whole body moving with the Kinect, but plan on having enough space to kick and dodge without hitting furniture.

Took a few tries to get the Kinect camera distance right, but once it locked on, the racing mechanics felt surprisingly responsive and smooth.

The disc arrived in clean, playable shape, and the full-body racing controls really make you work for every drift. It’s a fun workout disguised as a game, even if you need decent space in your living room to pull it off.
