I was pleasantly surprised by how solid the d-pad feels—no wobble at all. The buttons have a nice, responsive click that brings back memories of the original hardware.

The d-pad has that perfect stiffness that reminds me of the original six-button pad I had as a kid, and every button registers instantly without sticking. Plugged it in and it worked straight out of the box with no issues at all.
