Rugby 2006 - Microsoft Xbox

The physics feel surprisingly realistic for its age, especially the rucking and mauling mechanics. I've been playing it non-stop since it arrived, and it still holds up well against newer sports titles.

I was skeptical a 2006 rugby game could still hold up, but the authentic gameplay is surprisingly deep and the fast-paced action keeps every match tense. The Xbox controls feel tight, and it’s a solid pick for any fan of the sport.

The rucking and mauling feel way more fluid than I expected for a game this old, and the fast-paced action description is spot on. I've sunk hours into the World Cup mode and it still plays great on my Xbox.
