Nintendo 2DS Scarlet Red Handheld Console

The dual-screen setup is perfect for playing my old DS library, and the 3.53-inch top screen feels plenty large for classic games. Battery life lasts through several long bus commutes without needing a charge.

The Scarlet Red finish is way more vivid in person than in the photos, and the compact size makes it slip right into my jacket pocket. Even with my big hands, the clamshell-free design feels surprisingly comfortable for long sessions on the dual screens.

The dual-screen setup makes playing old DS games feel fresh, and the matte finish on the scarlet shell actually keeps fingerprints away. Battery life surprises me—I’ve been playing for hours without needing to charge.
