Lost Planet 3 - Microsoft Xbox 360

The frozen tundra environments feel genuinely dangerous, and I love how the story ties into the first game. The rig combat adds a nice change of pace from the on-foot shooting.

The grappling hook adds a great tactical layer to combat, and the frozen environments feel genuinely treacherous. I've sunk hours into the story mode without any disc read errors so far.

The case and disc were in better shape than most "Very Good" listings I've gotten, so that was a nice surprise. The single-player campaign hooked me right away with its mech combat and the bleak arctic setting, and it runs smooth on the 360 with no glitches so far.
