Gex Enter the Gecko - Nintendo Game Boy Color

Plays exactly like I remember from my childhood, and the cartridge is in surprisingly solid shape for a loose copy. The level design on the Game Boy Color version still holds up as a fun little platformer, and I’ve already sunk a couple hours into it without any save glitches.

Popped it in and the platforming feels surprisingly tight for a handheld port—Gex’s tail whip and wall jump are mapped just right. Cartridge is clean, loads instantly, and the sprites hold up nicely on the GBC screen. Definitely worth it if you’re chasing that 90s platformer fix.
