Dante's Inferno - Microsoft Xbox 360

The game's depiction of Hell is incredibly detailed, and the "unholy" and "holy" upgrades give you nice customization for your play style. I’ve been playing for a few hours and the pacing keeps me hooked.

The cross-shaped weapon upgrading system adds a satisfying layer of strategy to the hack-and-slash combat. I’ve been playing through Hell’s circles and the art design is hauntingly beautiful.

The combat flows really well with the scythe, and the way the platforming sections transition between hell’s circles keeps things interesting. I popped in the Platinum Hits version and was surprised how smooth it still runs.
