Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 - Microsoft Xbox 360

I always wanted a hunting game that felt more like a real challenge, and this one delivers with its detailed tracking and weather effects. The controls are responsive, and the wilderness environments make you feel like you're actually out there.

The tracking mechanic actually feels more engaging than I expected, and the career mode keeps you busy for hours without getting stale.

The varied environments in the career mode keep each hunt fresh, and the rifle calibration mini-game adds a nice layer of skill beyond just pulling the trigger. I've been playing through the Alaska map for hours and still haven't bagged a record buck.
