I’ve been playing for a few days and the dinosaur taming mechanic is surprisingly deep for a handheld game. The world feels huge and there’s always something new to discover.

The game runs smoothly on the Switch even in handheld mode, and I've spent hours building a base on the beach while my raptor patrols the shore. The cartridge is great for those of us who prefer physical copies over downloads.

Being able to tame and ride a T-Rex while exploring the island on the Switch is exactly the chaos I needed on a long flight. The frame rate stutters a bit on the open world, but it's surprisingly playable and the building mechanics kept me hooked for hours.
